ATVs can be used as agricultural equipment

Many people look at ATVs as recreational vehicles, but farmers have known for years that these machines are great for getting around the land and doing some of the tougher tasks.

"The wider ones are useful for most of the fencing," farmer Kelly Blair told the Rapid City Journal. "You can haul steel posts and wire and all the tools you need. Plus, you can get into rougher ground where you wouldn't be able to get with a truck."

Blair learned that last point through experience, as he used an ATV to free a cow that was stuck in mud. The ATV was his only piece of equipment that could gain traction on the difficult terrain, he told the news source.

The auction site IronPlanet is your one-stop shop for all of your used agricultural equipment needs. Not only do the auctions feature traditional agricultural equipment like tractors, harvesters and scrapers, but the IronPlanet Motors site also offers a wide array of used ATVs and side-by-sides, which are great for both work and play. Interested buyers can bid with confidence on items marked with the IronClad Assurance system, as this indicates that a point-by-point inspection report is available for viewing before
the purchase.
