Automotive-mirror manufacturer Gentex announced recently that it would soon begin construction on a 140-acre factory in Zeeland Township, Mich. According to MLive.com, the project is the largest of its kind in township history and will create new job opportunities for the surrounding area.

The company has owned the property on which the factory will be located since 2001, but it's only now taking advantage of the space.

Earlier this month, Gentex broke ground on a 125,000 square-foot construction that would link the two plants that already reside in Zeeland. The company currently employs 3,300 workers and may add hundreds of jobs in the future.
