Iraq war veteran and "Dancing With The Stars" champion J.R. Martinez will be appearing at the International Builders' Show this February in Florida, to speak about his work with a home-building charity.

The show, put on by the National Association of Home Builders, is attracting motivational speakers from around the country, such as famous hiker Aron Ralston. Martinez will be talking about Operation Finally Home, which seeks to provide housing for returning soldiers.

"J.R. Martinez won the hearts of many viewers with his can-do attitude and spirit even before he won the dance competition," said NAHB Chairman Bob Nielsen, a home builder and developer in Reno, Nev. "Having the opportunity to hear his inspiring story is another great reason to attend the Builders' Show."

Hearing Martinez isn't the only reason for construction company owners to be in Florida this February. IronPlanet will be holding their first-ever simultaneous onsite and online auction at the Fantasy of Flight attraction outside Orlando from February 21-24. A large amount of used construction equipment will be available for purchase both at the site and online, so it's a good time to gear up for any upcoming jobs.
