Construction around South Bend Airport continues forward

Construction is set to continue on the relocation of Lincolnway West, which will help improve road access to the South Bend Airport. The first step is to clear trees that are in the way of the road, and work is set to begin later this winter.

South Bend Airport's four carriers provide flights to nine major cities throughout the United States, serving more than one million travelers each year. When construction of the new byway is complete, traffic should flow much smoother in and out of the airport.

In order to complete such a large job, it's important to have a reliable fleet of construction equipment ready to get the job done. With IronPlanet's unique marketplace, finding what's needed is a breeze.

Thanks to IronClad Assurance, it's easy to get the peace of mind needed to bid on an item. Equipment is personally inspected by a local representative who photographs the equipment, takes select measurements and retrieves oil and other samples for lab analysis. All images and results are shown on the auction page. It allows buyers to have a comprehensive look at the construction equipment before committing to a bid.
