In Forth Worth, Texas, a $74-million construction job on a civil court building is about to begin. According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, plans for the project were six years in the making, and while the process hit a few snags on the way, officials are confident that the new facility will be a marked improvement over the current one.

"This plan will accommodate multiple party settings and provide access to technology and streamline the fact-finding process for the jury," Judge David Evans told the news source. "We tried to build courtrooms that will accommodate litigation for the next 25 or 30 years."

These days, an increasing number of businesses and municipalities are realizing that their structures may not be quite up to date, which means construction firms are now being called in to bring their facilities into the 21st century. Those hoping to capitalize on this fact will want to ensure that their construction equipment is up to snuff. With IronPlanet, finding a backhoe loader, dump truck or bulldozer that's capable of getting the job done has never been easier.
