Is It Time to Upgrade to Tier 4 Final Technology?

Equipment manufacturers have seen less than an enthusiastic response to machines equipped with engines that meet Tier 4 emissions requirements, but that’s about to change.
A recent EquipmentWatch report states that the rate of Tier 4 adoption has been “slow at best," with 40% of contractors surveyed indicating that Tier 4 machines currently comprise less than 20% of their fleets.
But with the green trend growing in our society, and with governmental agencies, companies, and often entire industry sectors pledging an increased desire to protect the environment, the need to upgrade equipment eets to cleaner, and often more efficient, Tier 4 technology will become more common.
