At some point in the near future, work is set to begin on a prototype Apple Store in downtown Palo Alto, Calif. According to Mercury News, this new store could potentially be the company's first attempt at a redesign of their iconic establishments.

The 15,000 square-foot Apple Store will feature glass ceilings to let in plenty of natural light, and the source reports that stone and steel will be two large factors in its design.

"It's a very unique building," Palo Alto planning manager Steven Turner told the news source. "The retail space within the building is very visible to pedestrians who are walking past."

Working for a company like Apple is sure to keep contractors busy, which is why it's so important to have the best possible construction equipment. IronPlanet's unique marketplace makes it easy for potential buyers to find exactly what they're looking for in no time at all.
