The construction of a biomass power plant in Rothschild, Wisc., has proven to be a boon for the local economy. According to Central Wisconsin Hub, about 75 workers are currently employed as the initial phases of construction are wrapping up. That number is expected to climb to 250 by summer 2012.

As the need for construction workers continues to normalize, an ever-increasing number of jobs in Rothschild is just one example of what's quickly becoming a national trend.

Those hoping to capitalize on the renewed interest in construction work may want to shore up their fleets to ensure they can handle whatever work comes along. With IronPlanet's help, doing so is a breeze - the marketplace is frequently updated, so new items are consistently featured.

What distinguishes IronPlanet from other auction sites is its IronClad Assurance. A local IronPlanet representative will personally visit the item and give it a thorough visual inspection. Between 50 and 100 photographs are taken, all of which are featured on the auction page, so buyers know exactly what they're looking at before placing a bid.
