Two large distribution centers for online retailer Amazon.com in Chesterfield and Dinwiddie Counties, Virginia are set for construction in the near future. According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, the facilities will cost $135 million to construct and will employ about 1,350 individuals while work is being done.

"It is ambitious, and also very doable," Tim Davey, senior principal with Timmons Group, the civil engineering firm responsible for the project's engineering, told the news source. "For the next 10 1/2 months, you are going to see two very large sites coming out of the ground, which is going to be very exciting."
