This week, there are so many items available in the Featured Auction that IronPlanet has extended the sale an extra day. The auction will begin on Wednesday, December 12 and continue through Thursday. Interested buyers may want to head to the online auction site to browse through more than 1,200 listings for used construction equipment, agriculture equipment, tools, parts, trucks and more. This will give them a chance to find the goods they need ahead of the sale so they are ready to bid. Here are a few highlights from this week's sale.
Track excavators
Buyers who are in need of track excavators will want to check out this week's auction, as there are more than 70 different listings in the category. This includes equipment of various sizes, such as the 2009 Bobcat 435G Mini Excavator with an enclosed, heated cab and a 23-inch tooth bucket. The 2007 Caterpillar 320D L Long Reach Excavator may be perfect for those with big jobs, as it has a 20-foot 6-inch stick and a long reach boom and stick. Buyers who need standard track excavators may prefer something more modest, like the 2008 Doosan SL75-V
with a 5-foot 10-inch stick, or the 2005 Link Belt 240LX, which features a 54-inch tooth bucket and a 10-foot 2-inch stick.
Crawler tractors
In addition to excavators, crawler tractors have a strong showing in the Featured Auction. With more than 40 choices, buyers have a good chance of finding the crawler tractor they need. There are plenty of Caterpillar models, including the 2012 D6T LGP, which has a 12-foot 9-inch blade, 36-inch track shoes, a single cylinder tilt, and an enclosed cab with heating and air conditioning. Bidders can also browse the selection of Komatsu models like the 1998 D32E-1. This machine has a six-way blade, an open operator station,
joystick steering controls and 15-inch track shoes.
Backhoe loaders
Bidders can peruse a wide selection of backhoe loaders, most of which have been backed by IronClad Assurance. The 2003 Caterpillar 420D 4x4 Backhoe Loader could be a viable option, as this machine has only 2,414 hours on the meter, an 88-inch general purpose loader bucket and a 24-inch rear bucket. Interested buyers can learn more about this particular piece of equipment by checking out the full inspection report. A 2005 John Deere 310G Backhoe Loader may be another good choice, as this equipment has 962 hours on the
meter. It also features an 86-inch general purpose loader bucket and a 19-inch rear bucket.
Track Loaders
This week's Featured Auction has a number of track loaders for sale, including the 2007 John Deere CT322 Compact Track Loader. With an open operator station, 12.5-inch track belts and 71.5-inch smooth edge bucket, this equipment is ideal for smaller jobs or those in confined spaces. There are also a number of Bobcat and Caterpillar models available in this category.
These are just a few of the listings available in the Featured Auction. The sale also has drilling equipment, a variety of trucks, plenty of compactors, conveyors, generators, tools and items buyers might need for their next big projects. With so many listings to see, bidders should be sure to check out their options ahead of the sale. This will not only help them narrow their choices down, but it can ensure they don't miss the window to bid on the goods they want, as every listing in the featured auction spends five minutes on the auction block.
