On February 27 through March 1, IronPlanet will host its largest online auction of used construction equipment. With nearly 2,500 items, this Featured Auction will provide a wide variety to choose from.
Excavators
For those interested in purchasing used wheel and track excavators, there will be dozens available throughout the three-day event. The listings include a variety of of sizes and brands, such as a 2008 Caterpillar 301.6C Mini Excavator, which has a swing boom, 9-inch track belts, auxiliary hydraulic plumbing, and a 17.5-inch tooth bucket. In addition, there is a 2006 Case CX160 Track Excavator, which is equipped with heating and air conditioning, a control pattern changer, 23.5-inch track shoes, a 42-inch tooth bucket and an enclosed cab. Crawler loaders

The 2008 Caterpillar 963D Crawler Loader up for auction has 21.5-inch track shoes, a 98-inch-wide general purpose bucket with teeth, a Caterpillar C6.6 engine, as well as heating and air conditioning. Another option is the Dresser 200 Crawler Loader, which has an open operator station, a heater, hydrostatic drive, 20-inch track shoes, a 100-inch-wide multi-purpose bucket and a six-cylinder engine.
Backhoe Loaders
Individuals in the market for used backhoe loaders can browse the numerous listings in the Featured Auction, most of which have been inspected by IronPlanet as well. One of the items listed is a 2007 Caterpillar 416E 4x4 Backhoe Loader, which has a four-cylinder engine, an 89-inch-wide general purpose loader bucket, a 24-inch rear bucket and an open operator station. Another excellent choice available is a 2005 John Deere 310G 4x4 Backhoe Loader, which contains a John Deere 4045D engine, an 84.5-inch-wide general purpose loader bucket and a 24-inch-wide rear bucket. The 2007 Terramite T5C Mini Backhoe Loader has backhoe pilot controls, a 49-inch-wide general purpose loader bucket, a 15-inch-wide rear bucket and a rear quick coupler.

Other items for sale include drill equipment, boats, balers, brooms and sweepers as well as used chipping and mulching equipment. Although not all of them have been through the inspection process, individuals can still click on their listings to view information about the equipment before choosing to place a bid.
Anyone interested in checking out the thousands of items over the three-day event will want to make note of what times the items the items will be auctioned off.
