Frac Spreads, Well Service Rigs, Pick-up Trucks and 1, 2, and 3-Shank Rippers all selling at Auction
August is a heavy-duty month of activity for Kruse Energy with three sales in the oil field. August 9th – 10th drew 350+ people on-site to a successful end-of-summer sale in Midland-Odessa, Texas. With many more online, two frac spreads brought more than $4.5 million, combined. Bidders came from as far away as Russia, Europe, Venezuela, and as close as next door. What moved most? Kruse President, David Long, noted that the heavy sellers were frac spreads, oilfield service trucks, and well service rigs.
Coming next: the Kruse team will be in Pratt, Kansas, on August 25 to help Pratt Well Service sell the majority of its inventory after 70 years in business. Big inventory reductions draw large crowds and Kruse is ready for it! With Kruse’s knowledge of oilfield equipment buyers plus IronPlanet’s online customer reach, we’ll see a good crowd ready to spend top-dollar. Pratt Well Service President Kenny Gates will be on-hand at the auction. The equipment selling sustained Pratt’s business through the years. The Pratt sale features: ten well-service rigs, a water well rig, drilling rig power swivel & triplex pumps, all kinds of trucks & trailers, pipes, collars and other construction and shop equipment.
Moving to Loveland, Colorado, on August 31, Kruse is featuring seven well service rigs and two frac pump trailers, as well as one, two and a hard to find three-shank ripper!
