IronPlanet has launched a new twist to its allEquip online used equipment marketplace.
Launched in 2014 as an alternative to online equipment auctions, allEquip allows heavy equipment owners to sell their used machines with a fixed “Buy Now” price. Similar to the concept of eBay’s “Buy-It-Now” option, the site allows customers to purchase a piece of used equipment in just a few clicks—without having to bid on it.

Online equipment auctioneer IronPlanet and its TruckPlanet marketplace have launched a new service aimed at buyers looking to purchase trucks in bulk during on-site or online auctions.
The company says the program, Fleet Services, will work in conjunction with IronPlanet Truck Locator and have access to more than $200 million in trucks, including Class 8.
