After soft launching in late 2017, we’re officially introducing Marketplace-E – our newest online buying and selling solution. Complementing our onsite unreserved auctions and online-only auctions through IronPlanet, Marketplace-E offers sellers increased control over price, location, and timing, while providing buyers access to more equipment available to purchase right away.

We sell hundreds of items every Thursday through our weekly online auctions, but next week’s auction is a special two-day event, with 1,700+ items from 45 U.S. states and nine Canadian provinces.

Company declared apparent high bidders for Defense Logistics Agency non-rolling stock contracts.

For the past three years, Ritchie Bros.’ GovPlanet marketplace has been helping the U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD) Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) sell thousands of its surplus rolling stock assets. Now Ritchie Bros. is expanding its relationship with the government agency, after being declared apparent high bidder for two new contracts with the DLA, to purchase, manage and sell non-rolling stock surplus assets for both its East and West regions. The contract has a base term of two years with four one-year renewal options.
